I'm an oenophile, foodie, and golf nut who loves to talk about wine, food, and golf with other enthusiasts.

I have been in the food and wine industry for over 14 years. I earned a degree in Culinary Arts from the California Culinary Academy, as well as a B.S. in Construction Engineering from University of California, Berkeley.

My journey into the world of wine started when I first owned my restaurant in 1992. I'm now devoting over 80 hours a week to tasting, writing about, and selling fine wines. I have a talent for tasting and evaluating wines, what I like to call "handicapping," and I've used that passion to develop a successful, growing "private client" wine business,

My goal is to continue to be an influential voice in the wine community. Read my blog for tips on great new wines before they're in the mainstream spotlight...

Wine, food, and golf in that order...but not always together!
